U14 Dodgeball Champions

Our U14 Dodgeball team went to the MK Schools Tournament held at MK Academy and emerged as Champions.

Using a league format that was fiercely contested, three schools ended up tying in top place. The stakes were high, as the eventual winner would qualify for the County Games which will be held at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in July.

Thanks to a countback system which takes into account the numbers of players remaining on the court at the end of each game, Walton High were was declared MK Schools U14 Dodgeball Champions 2016/17.

The team were was Cosimo Pellegrino, Nick Duff, Dean Williamson, Jake Daley, Blake Hart and Morgan Reeves. They are pictured with Mr Harris and Mr Neilly. They will now represent Milton Keynes at the County Games.

We had some great experiences in the Franche-Comté region - from lessons at school to visiting ancient citadels on hills.  We were given a wonderful opportunity to have a real taste of French life.

National Figure Skating Competition

nable2016octMany congratulations to Nicole Abel (YR8) who recently took part in a National Figure Skating competition in Oxford finishing in third place - just three points behind the gold medallist.

She performed a routine to Nero’s “Two Steps From Hell” and was very pleased with her bronze medal which she described as “pretty good”!

Well done Nicole.
