Screen Shot 2018 05 14 at 23.01.47Our YR7 Girls Football team have not only won the MK Schools 5 a-side Tournament this year, but they are now also winners of the MK Schools YR7 Girls Football League.

Defensively, their record this year has been very impressive. They scored 19 goals and conceded none in Pool B , beating Hazeley 4-0, MKA 7-0, Stantonbury 6-0 and Radcliffe 2-0. Following a play-off final against the winners of Pool A, Shenley Brook End School, which resulted in a 3-2 win, they are now MK Schools YR7 Girls Football Champions 2017/18. 

The girls who played a part in the team this year are Aimee Brown, Emily Chieza, Amy Davison, Kaci Deefholts, Elise Dorne-Williams, Fundikira Nyanzobe, Connie Gifford, Ruby-Joyce Harper, Katie Keene, Freya McManus and Tayla Shepherd.

Miss South is very proud that this team has done so well and has praised their work ethic and commitment as a team.

Top goal scorer in all competitions for this season is Fundikira Nyanzobe, who scored a total of 13 goals. Goalkeeper, Emily Chieza, kept a total of 7 clean sheets and Tayla Shepherd also had a great season. Miss South awarded the “Manager’s Player” award to Tayla three times this year.
