Walton High year 10 Sociology and Psychology students attended the Galleries of Justice for ALD 7 to support their current GCSE work on crime and deviance.
Students enjoyed the opportunity to dress up and participate in a mock trial, as well as explore how punishment methods have changed throughout history. They were able to walk through the old prison cells and police station, as well as look at historical artefacts related to punishment.
The actors that work at the museum really brought the topic to life and students really enjoyed the engagement of the topic material. An enjoyable day was had by students and staff.
