Welcome
At Walton High we are determined to inspire every one of our students to flourish and to grow into fine young citizens: young people who understand the power of learning to shape a better future for themselves and for their communities. We commit to doing this in a safe, happy and joyful environment that embraces the very best academic achievement for all and where each one of us has a keen sense of belonging to a school that values respect, kindness, aspiration and effort.
Walton High is:
A place to belong:
- A school of mutual respect, where students and adults treat each other with kindness, care and understanding
- A happy and cohesive community where everyone belongs and feels safe to be themselves, enabling them to flourish and gain strength from our rich diversity
A place to learn
- A school that inspires our students with a lifelong love and enthusiasm for learning
- A school of high expectations where students develop a real sense of aspiration and ambition and where they work hard with staff to get the qualifications they need for a bright future
A place to achieve
- A school that supports our students to develop into fine, confident young adults of good character, who are a credit to their school, their families and their communities
- A collaborative school, where staff, students, parents and governors work together so that all our students achieve both academically and holistically
Walton High is Milton Keynes’ largest and one of its most successful and popular schools. Walton High has two campuses, Walnut Tree and Brooklands, each with 1500 students on roll across years 7 to 13.
We welcome students and their families who are committed to our values and invite you to talk to our staff, students and parents to find out what they say about the school. We are proud of the achievements of all our students, and hope that you feel that this is a place where your son or daughter might belong, learn and achieve.
