Walton High welcomes all Year 6 pupils and their parents to our Open Morning on Saturday 13 October 2012.  Come and see the school, talk to staff and students and hear Ms Currie, the Executive Principal speak in The Venue.

Families with surnames beginning A-L should enter via The Venue entrance off Hindhead Knoll and go to the theatre for a talk by the Principal at 10.15. There will be an opportunity to tour the school, meeting students and staff, after the presentation.

gcse2012smallAnd for students collecting their GCSE results this morning, there was plenty to celebrate. 78% of students gained one or more A*/A grade or equivalent. A remarkable 22 students achieved 10 or more A* or A grades. ‘I’ve beaten my brother!’ was one student’s first thought and many students rushed immediately to share the good news with some very nervous parents.


Post-16 students at Walton High are celebrating their outstanding achievements, with thirty-three students gaining the equivalent of 3 or more A*/A grades.

Amongst the highest performing A level students were Anand Savjani (3 A* 1A) Ashna Makwana, Jonathan Shine and Cathy Sun (3A*), Chloe Boseley (2A* 1A), Peter Neale (1A* 3A), Ellen Foley-Williams (1A* 2A), Muhammad Ikram (1A* 2A, 1B), Imogen Bambrough Stimson (4A) and Josh Atkinson (Distinction*, 2A, 1B).
