Jasmine Briggs YR8Jasmin Briggs (YR8) was given 1st place in the Individual event on her pony, Lackview Prince, at the Pony Club Area 12 (MK area) Regional Dressage competition with a routine that was approximately three minutes long. Her team also qualified in 1st Place for the Regional Championships in September. She was “very happy” to win this title. Ultimately, it is her ambition to become a Grand Prix Dressage rider in the future.

Jasmin has been riding for five years and has been lucky enough to have her own horse for much of that time. Lackview Prince is eight years old and was partly trained when Jasmin first got him, but much of their training has been together.

She rides at Bryerley Springs Equestrian Centre at Great Brickhill 5-6 days a week, with a lesson once or twice a week.

Bryerley Springs can be contacted using the link below for anyone who would like to find out more. You do not need to have your own horse to ride there and facilities are available for riders with disabilities.

Jasmin will be part of the Walton High National Schools Equestrian Association team, representing our school in Show Jumping and Dressage.

If you are interested in competing for the Walton High Equestrian Team, please speak to Mr Harris at Brooklands or Mrs Watson-Green at Walnut Tree.
