Year 11 students at Walton High are celebrating many excellent GCSE grades across a range of subjects; the result of their hard work and on-going support from parents and teachers
Celebrating today was Michael Lee from our Walnut Tree Campus who achieved eight grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Economics, French Geography, Maths, Physics and Philosophy. Michael also achieved three grade 8s and an A* in Additional Maths.
Joining in the celebrations was Brooklands Campus student Adam Buchan who achieved seven Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Geography, Maths Physics and Philosophy; two Grade 8s and Double Distinction* in Creative Media Production. Adam is continuing to study with us and has chosen to study Chemistry, Physics, Maths and EPQ.
Additional students celebrating top grades are Yaw Agyei Agyapong (seven grades 9s and two 8s), Yaw is continuing at Walton High and has chosen to study economics, Business, Maths and EPQ. Vivek Bilous (six grade 9s; three grade 8s, an A* and Double Distinction in Performing Arts), he is pursuing his passion of studying Spanish, Maths, Economics and EPQ at Walton High. Mohammed Ali (six grade 9s, three 8s and Double Distinction Star in Creative Media Production) and is studying Chemistry, Biology, Maths and EPQ. Sophie McManus (five 9s, Double Distinction * in Sports Studies, A* in Additional Maths among her grades) and Simona Dubs (five 9s and two 8s in her results) and is continuing to study Maths, Physics, Spanish and EPQ.
Overall, 21% of our students achieved at least one grade 9 or equivalent among their other excellent results.
