On Thursday 12 December, our Health and Social Care Year 10 students welcomed a team of volunteer speakers from Guide Dog UK.
Guide Dog UK is a charity whose ambition is a future where every person with sight loss has the confidence and support they need to live their lives to the full.
Students enjoyed the experience and listened attentively to the life-changing stories made possible by the charity. As I am sure you can imagine, the students especially enjoyed getting to know the dogs that the speakers brought with them.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Alison and her team for kindly taking the time to visit us. We look forward to carrying out some fund-raising activities to support the work you do.
